Memoir Mixtapes publishes creative nonfiction and poetry inspired by the songs that make up the soundtracks to our lives. Founded in 2017, Memoir Mixtapes has published brilliant writing from talented wordsmiths around the world.
In addition to our full length Volumes, which tend to be themed, we also publish Features (personal essays and poems that don’t fit the current Volume theme) and Song Recommendations (micro creative nonfiction) throughout the year.
With this Substack, our goal is to make consuming Memoir Mixtapes as easy as possible for those who can afford to support the project by sending our paid subscribers a weekly digest sent on Saturdays.
